Clinical Supervision for Therapists, Counsellors, and Coaches
Are you someone who looks forward to supervision as a vital part of your clinical practice—or do you approach it with a bit of reluctance, knowing it’s important but not always inspiring?
Whatever your relationship with supervision, you’re in the right place.
I offer clinical supervision for therapists, counsellors, coaches, and other mental health professionals working in private practice, agencies, and EAP settings. Whether you’re newly qualified or a seasoned practitioner, I provide a safe, supportive space to reflect, process, question, and grow.
What Can You Expect from Supervision?
Supervision isn’t just a tick-box exercise—it’s an opportunity for meaningful reflection, deeper insight, and professional development. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in respect for your unique way of working.
I’ve experienced both individual and group clinical supervision as a practitioner, and I know first hand the value both formats bring. Supervision can help you:
-
Process challenging client work
-
Deepen self-awareness and clinical insight
-
Explore ethical or boundary concerns
-
Celebrate progress and acknowledge what’s working
-
Stay connected to your purpose and values
Tailored to You
Are you looking for supervision that aligns with your modality, client group, or stage of practice?
I work integratively, drawing from transpersonal and humanistic psychotherapy—but supervision with me is tailored to you. I welcome supervisees from a range of backgrounds and modalities, including those working with adults, young people, and diverse client populations.
You might want a supervisor with:
-
Experience in private practice, agency settings, or EAP work
-
Understanding of trauma-informed care
- Lived experience of neurodivergence
- A neuro-affirming practice
-
Insight into setting up and growing a private practice
- Flexibility to work temporarily to cover illness
- Adaptability to offer 2 x 45-minute sessions fortnightly rather than a standard 90-minute option
Let’s have a conversation about what matters to you in supervision.
A Bit About Me
I’m an experienced, insured, and qualified supervisor who values warmth, authenticity, and humour in the supervision space. I’m also:
-
Approachable and non-judgemental
-
Open to whatever you bring (yes, even that)
-
Passionate about lifelong learning, trauma recovery, and supporting practitioners in private practice
My transpersonal approach values the whole human being—mind, body, heart, and spirit. I believe our work doesn’t just stay in the therapy room—it has a ripple effect on the people and systems around us.

My experience of supervision
Like most counsellors and clinical professionals, I engaged in supervision from early in my training. Initially finding it an odd experience to be observed in my clunky, awkward learning I picked up so many useful elements of therapeutic work and grew less fearful of it over time.
Now, I love it – I have supervision of my own caseload and supervision of my supervisee’s caseload too ensuring that you as a supervisee get my full attention in session, and full support through my support network too.
I’ve engaged in group and individual supervision and feel like there is a place for both, although it’s easier to not bring the difficult conversations when in a group where it’s easier to hide (*has been guilty of sitting quietly in groups*).
I identify as neurodivergent and particularly enjoy working with supervisees looking for affirmative support, and supervisees working with the ND community.

Do you know about my area of expertise?
I’ve completed lots of CPD post-training and work with the following models and modalities. I don’t claim to be an expert in any of them, my approach is relational and humanistic with aspects of models used where appropriate;

- Trauma Training including PTSD and C-PTSD
- Creative Approaches
- Psychoeducation
- Breathwork
- Mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Therapy

Happy to have a chat about other ways of working too.
What are your fees?
I charge £60 per hour.
I don’t currently work with counselling students.
What supervision model do you use?
I’m a fan of the seven-eyed model of supervision, which focuses on the integration of the relational and systemic aspects of how we work. This model allows me to stay present in the room with our relationship whilst considering what systems are at play for you and your client.
What areas of counselling do you work in?
I have experience in working in national charities, as an in-house counsellor and service manager for employee assistance programs, (EAPs), and successfully set up in private practice.
Areas that I have significant experience in include stalking, fertility and infant loss, and domestic and sexual violence. I work with trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD and I enjoy working with first responders in the Police, Fire Service, and NHS.
About my Memberships
I’m an accredited member with the National Council of Psychotherapists, membership no 361073 and I abide by their code of ethics and professional practice.
I have completed the training for a Level 6 CPCAB Clinical Supervision qualification, which has involved over 80 taught hours and many more practice hours.
Registered with the Private Practice Register in the UK, I accept insurance billing from Aetna Global Benefits and Vitality Health.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate and current indemnity insurance as required by UK law.

The most important part of therapy, which research has proven, is the value of the therapeutic relationship – that is, how a client and therapist gel together.
I hope that you’re able to look around and find a supervisor that shares your own values and beliefs.
